Midnight Escapade - Three Cheese Ziti Marinara

There I was, in the dead of night, when suddenly… LOL. JK.
It was “whatever-you-want-to-eat night” and I was starving. -__-
Whenever I’m starving, it always seems like I can never find anything that I want to eat and of course, tonight was one of those times. All there was was chicken noodle soup, PB&J, and ham. EWE. Then I noticed a frozen dinner in the freezer. “Three Cheese Ziti Marinara.” Well it was my mom’s so naturally I couldn’t eat it. Then I noticed two other things: macaroni and cheese, and spaghetti sauce. BASICALLY THREE CHEESE ZITI MARINARA RIGHT?! I know, I know. I’m a genius.

What You Need:
Macaroni and cheese box and jarred spaghetti sauce. (To make macaroni and cheese you need 6 cups water, ¼ cup milk, and ¼ cup butter).

How to Make It:
1. Make the macaroni and cheese as directed on the box, and after it is mixed, keep it in the pot.
2. Add about half the jar of spaghetti sauce (it’s your preference!) and stir until warm. I sprinkled a little shredded cheese on top too, for presentational purposes. J ENJOY!

Happy Birthday (I Know Your Favorite Dessert!) - Cookies and Cream Cupcakes

A few days ago, it was my friend’s birthday, so I decided to make her cupcakes. Since cookies and cream are her favorite type of cookie, I made a cookies and cream themed cupcake. I made triple chocolate cupcakes, filled with cookies and cream pudding, with a cookies and cream chocolate bar on top. This would work with other candies as well. For example, chocolate cupcakes, peanut butter filling, with chocolate peanut butter candy on the top.

What You Need:
Cake mix, Chocolate frosting, cookies and cream pudding mix, and about three cookies and cream chocolate bars.

To Make Them:
Bake a chocolate cupcake, fill it with cookies and cream pudding (see THIS), and frost with chocolate frosting.
After the frosting has partially set, break a cookies and cream chocolate bar into about four jagged pieces, and push a corner of the candy bar into the cupcake.
Now eat! Alternatively, give them to a friend! Well you can do whatever you want with them. I can’t stop you. Lol. :P

I'm Just a Cupcake Kind of Gal - Cherry Cheesecake Cookie Cups

I love cupcakes. As you may be able to tell, about 95% of my posts are going to be about cupcakes. So when I found a recipe (at this site!) for little cheesecake cups, I was stoked. They are as cute as cupcakes, as small as cupcakes, but CHEESECAKES. So yeah. AH-MAY-ZING.

P.S. The photo turned out horribly, therefore I edited it horribly to try to cover up the horribleness, but it's not really working. Either way, they were delicious. :)

What You Need:
Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough, 2 packages of cream cheese (SOFTENED), 1 can (14 oz.) condensed milk, cherry pie filling, 2 eggs, and 2 teaspoons vanilla extract.
How to Make Them:
1. Preheat the oven to 325° , put 24 paper baking cups in a cupcakes pan, and place about 2 tablespoons cookie dough into each cup.
2. Bake the cookie dough for about 10 minutes. They will look like this when done:

3. While the cookie dough is baking, mix together the SOFTENED cream cheese, condensed milk, eggs, and vanilla extract. Make sure the cream cheese was softened for a few hours or your cheesecake will be chunky.
4. After the cookie dough is done baking, fill the paper cups until about ¾ full with cream cheese mixture. Bake for an additional 15 minutes.
5. After the cheesecakes are done and cooled, top each with a spoonful of cherry pie filling, and ENJOY. J

Project, Shmoject - Double-Decker Cupcakes

So a friend and I needed to create an edible cell for our class. The cupcakes turned out great. The pictures did not. SAD STORY. However, I am still going to post how we did them, because it is super cute, and ridiculously easy. (:

1. Make tiny cupcakes and take the baking cups off. This way the frosting won't get all over the paper and make a sticky mess. You can also make brownie bites as well; its just as adorable, and oh-so-yummy.

2. Bake normal sized cupcakes and then let everything cool.

3. Frost the larger cupakes. It's harder to frost them if you stack the cupcakes first.

4. Stick a toothpick in the center of the larger cupcake. Then set the smaller cupcake on top of that.

5. Frost the top cupcake, add sprinkles, and enjoy!

New Beginnings - White Sprinkled Cupcakes with Chocolate Filling

In a couple days, it will be my dad's birthday, and in honor of this, like always, I baked cupcakes. After seeing the finished product, he suggested I make a blog.
So here we go; it’s a new beginning. <3

Everything you need:
Cake mix & ingredients, frosting, food coloring, pudding mix & 2 ½ cups milk, sprinkles, and a knife.

White cake with sprinkles in it is great for birthdays, and everyone loves the flavor. Just pick out some cute cupcake cups and follow the directions on the box. While the cupcakes are baking, go ahead and make the pudding mix as well so that it will be ready when the cupcakes are done.

After the cupcakes are baked and cooled, cut a cone shape out of the middle of the cupcakes. Point the knife diagonal into the cupcake so that the largest part of the cone is the very top of the cupcake.

Fill the cupcake with a scoop of pudding. Cut the tip of the cone (that was cut from the cupcake) off, and place the top back on. You can save the yummy tips that were cut off and snack while you decorate.

Now all that’s left to do is frost and sprinkle! I colored my frosting light blue then frosted my cupcakes by making a flower shape, and then another on top. I also used pearl-looking sprinkles for a dainty touch. Enjoy! J
